I miss this in a way. Also the idea that spending ~45 minutes driving in a loop around Houston could be an evening activity. Other Houstonian car culture memories: car tag, donuts, dragging on the spur, watching the traffic from Dunlavy bridge. Oh yeah, and the Westheimer draggers.
